Emily Briggs Jones
An Unstoppable Force
Emily Briggs Jones is a Northern California artist whose large-scale installations, architectural ceramics, and sculptural works draw from historical decorative arts, botanical forms, and contemporary storytelling. Working primarily in clay, she creates custom tile installations, sculptural wall works, and functional objects that blur the line between fine art and design, bringing craftsmanship, narrative, and material presence into public, commercial, and private spaces.
Jones has completed commissioned projects for restaurants, cultural organizations, and businesses throughout the Sacramento region, including Aiona Mediterranean Kitchen and collaborations with the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera. Her work has been exhibited at Blue Line Arts and featured through partnerships with the Crocker Art Museum, Allora Sacramento, and other local arts organizations.
She holds a BFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, teaches Ceramic Art at the High School level and lives and works in the Sacramento area.
